Intimate Partner Violence
On December 24th at 12:37am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that a male had pushed a female to the ground and threatened to slit her throat.
As a result of investigation, a 29-year-old Belleville man was charged with:
- Assault
- Uttering threats
- Failure to comply with an undertaking
He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in February.
