Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 86 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on November 25, 2025 to 5:00 am on November 26, 2025.
Threats
On November 24th at 10:30pm, Belleville Police received a report of threats being made. It was reported that three youths approached a male in a local park, and one of the youths brandished a knife and made threatening comments.
Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and advised him of the grounds for his arrest.
As a result, on November 25th, a 16-year-old Belleville male whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with:
- Uttering threats
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
He was held for a bail hearing.
