Intimate Partner Violence
On November 7th at 6:01pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a domestic dispute.
It was reported that a verbal argument escalated, during which a male broke an internet modem and grabbed a female by the arm.
As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.

On November 8th at 7:27pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute.
It was reported that a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which a male struck a female in the face.
As a result, a 26-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
Mischief
On November 9th at 1:19am, Belleville Police responded to the city’s east end regarding a report of mischief. It was reported that an unknown male had been observed kicking in a basement window of a residence. Officers attended the area, located the individual, and spoke with him. Officers learned the male had kicked the window in at an unattended residence before fleeing the scene.
As a result, Andrew Borchert, a 43-year-old Shannonville man was arrested and charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
- Failure to comply with a probation order
He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in January.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
On November 9th between 1:00pm and 7:00pm, Belleville Police responded to 10 motor vehicle collisions. No serious injuries were reported.
