Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 241 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on October 31, 2025 to 5:00 am on November 3, 2025.
Disturbance
On October 31st at 9:19pm, Belleville Police responded to an apartment in the city’s west end regarding a report of a disturbance. It was reported that a fight was taking place between residents of one of the units.
Investigation revealed that the female resident was bound by conditions not to communicate with the male involved. It was also learned that the male had an outstanding arrest warrant by the Belleville Police Service and was also on conditions not to communicate with the female or her children.
Upon arrival, officers located the female and her children in a common area. Officers learned that the male was still inside the residence. As the children returned to the unit, officers entered and observed the male exiting through a window. Officers located and arrested the male.
As a result, the following persons were arrested and charged:
A 45-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with fail to comply with an Undertaking. She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
A 51-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order. His arrest warrant was subsequently executed. He was held for a bail hearing.
Theft
On October 28th at approximately 7:00pm, Belleville Police responded to a business in the city’s west end regarding a report of theft. It was reported that a female had repeatedly entered the store over several days, stealing merchandise and causing disturbances. Officers revied video surveillance and identified the female suspect.
On November 1st at 1:57pm, officers observed the female suspect walking on College St. Further investigation revealed she was also bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
As a result, Amanda Lake, 46-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
- Theft under $5000
- Failure to comply with a probation order
- Common nuisance
She was held for a bail hearing.
Breach of Release Order
On November 2nd at 11:31pm, Belleville Police on general patrol observed a male outside a residence. The male was known to be bound by a release order prohibiting him from attending the residence or communicating with the female resident.
As a result of investigation, a 33-year-old Deseronto man, was arrested and charged with four counts of Failure to comply with a release order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Impaired Driver
On November 2nd at 12:46am, Belleville Police observed a vehicle driving in the city’s north end without headlights. Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, who was observed to be displaying signs of impairment.
As a result of investigation, a 17-year-old Marmora male was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.
He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
