Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 74 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on October 8, 2025 to 5:00 am on October 9, 2025.
Threats
On October 8th at approximately 11:15am, Belleville Police received a report of a male uttering threats of death toward employees at an organization in Belleville.
Belleville Police, with assistance from the Criminal Investigation Division and Emergency Response Unit, launched an investigation and learned the suspect was in Marmora. With support from Central Hastings OPP, the male was taken into custody at 12:37pm without incident. Belleville Police received custody of the male at 1:16pm.
The organization was in lockdown until the suspect was located.
As a result, a 25-year-old Marmora man was arrested and charged for uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing.
