Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 80 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on September 9, 2025 to 5:00 am on September 10, 2025.
Stolen Vehicle
On September 9th at 7:56am, Belleville Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Cottonwood Dr. Upon arrival, it was reported that sometime overnight, a grey 2021 Hyundai Elantra was stolen. The vehicle bears Ontario license plate SANTYY. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.
Impaired Driver
On September 9th at 7:02pm, Belleville Police received a report of a female driving a vehicle who was suspected to be impaired. Officers located the vehicle a short distance away and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking with the driver, officers observed her to be impaired. As a result of investigation, Ashley Waye, 42-year-old Plainfield woman, was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
