Indecent Acts

On October 24th at 12:30pm, Belleville Police received a report of an indecent act at a local park. It was reported that a male was observed circling in the parking lot for approximately 1.5 hours. Upon leaving the park, the complainant observed two males in the vehicle performing an indecent act.

Through investigation, police were able to identify the involved parties.

As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged:

A 63-year-old Prince Edward County man was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act in a public place. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date scheduled in December.

A 74-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act in a public place. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date scheduled in December.

Intimate Partner Violence

On October 25th at 11:26 am, Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who reported that she and her partner had been in a verbal argument earlier in the day, which escalated when the male pushed her to the floor. The male had left the residence afterwards.

On October 26th at 4:35am, Belleville Police responded to the same address regarding a disturbance. It was reported a male was repeatedly knocking on the door and yelling and was described as the same individual from the earlier incident.

As a result, a 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault
  • Fail to comply with probation order X2

 

He was held for a bail hearing.

Assault

On October 26th at 4:50pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the parties involved. It was reported that that a female had become physically aggressive towards a male at the residence and punched him in the face.

As a result of investigation, a 25-year-old female was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault
  • Fail to comply with probation order X6
  • Fail to comply with release order X2

 

She was held for a bail hearing.

Impaired Driver

On October 27th at 12:31am, Belleville Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Sidney Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the male driver, who was exhibiting signs of impairment.

As a result of the investigation, Steven Savage, a 36-year-old Trenton man, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
