On November 24^th at 10:30pm, Belleville Police received a report of threats being made. It was reported that three youths approached a male in a local park, and one of the youths brandished a knife and made threatening comments.

Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and advised him of the grounds for his arrest.

As a result, on November 25^th, a 16-year-old Belleville male  whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with:

• Uttering threats
• Assault with a weapon
• Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose

He was held for a bail hearing.
