Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 149 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on November 10, 2025 to 5:00 am on November 12, 2025.
Assault
On November 10th at 3:59pm, Belleville Police responded to an apartment complex in the city’s north end regarding a report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was reported that a verbal disagreement resulted in a female swinging her arm at a resident while holding a weapon.
Officers also learned that the female was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
As a result, Amanda Lake, 46-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Failure to comply with a probation order X2
She was held for a bail hearing.
Breach of Probation
On November 11th at 6:15pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a report of a male breaching his probation conditions. It was reported that a male was observed to be at a residence but was known to be bound by conditions to not attend that address. Officers attended the area and located the male.
As a result, a 43-year-old Shannonville man was arrested and charged with three counts of failure to comply with a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
Threats
On November 11th at 7:09pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report a roommate dispute. It was reported that a male had been making threats to his roommate including that he was going to slit his throat. It was also learned that the male was on conditions to be of good behaviour.
As a result, a 46-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
- Uttering threats
- Failure to comply with a release order
He was held for a bail hearing.
Fraud
On November 11th at 8:13pm, Belleville Police received a report that a female had lost her purse in the downtown area earlier in the evening. Shortly after, she noticed unauthorized charges appearing on her bank cards, including a charge at a local hotel. Officers attended the hotel, reviewed video footage and identified a suspect.
As a result of investigation, officers located, arrested and charged Dwayne Redcliffe, a 59-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, with fraud under $5000. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
