Fail to remain – vehicle stuck cyclist

On the 15th of May at 7:10pm, Belleville Police, Fire and Hastings EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist.  The collision occurred on Sidney St. just north of Bell Blvd.  Information received was that the vehicle was exiting a business parking lot, onto Sidney St. when it struck the cyclist.  The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.  The cyclist received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. The vehicle is described as a white coloured SUV crossover similar to a Kia or Hyundai and the driver was described as a white male.  Police are continuing to investigate the collision and are asking that anyone with information contact Cst.
