UPDATE: Further Charges Laid in Relation to Kingston Police Service Member
On February 11th, 2026, following an investigation by the Belleville Police Service, a member of the Kingston Police Service was charged with Criminal Harassment.
On March 24th, 2026, as a result of further investigation into additional allegations from the complainant, the member was arrested and charged additionally with one count of Sexual Assault and one count of Assault.
The member was released on an Undertaking with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
No further details will be released in order to protect the privacy of the victim and to maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
