Uttering threats to cause bodily harm

On June 26th at 12:42am, Belleville Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the city’s east end. While on the line with the caller, police dispatch could hear a male yelling and the sound of items being smashed in the background.

Upon arrival, officers obtained further information that led to the arrest and charge of a 46-year-old Belleville man for uttering threats to cause bodily harm. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Assault

On June 25th at 12:00pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the city’s east end involving a female causing issues on the property. Upon arrival, officers spoke with on-site security personnel, who reported that the female had thrown urine at them. Officers subsequently located, arrested and charged a 45-year-old female, of no fixed address, with assault. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
