Assault Charge Laid Following Altercation Between Roommates
On July 28th at 6:56pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a dispute between two male roommates at a residence in the city’s east end. Upon arrival, officers spoke independently with both individuals involved. As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with one count of assault. He was held for a bail hearing.
The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
