Breach of Probation

On July 11th at approximately 11:20pm, Belleville Police on general patrol observed several people riding bikes on the road with no lights. Officers stopped the group and learned that one male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. As a result, Tyler Bonter, 40-year-old Belleville resident, was arrested and charged for failure to comply with a probation order. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in August 2025.

Breach of Release Order

On July 12th, a female attended the Belleville Police station to report that a male she was a surety for was breaching his conditions of release by leaving her residence. The release order specified the conditions of him residing with his surety and remaining inside the residence every night between the hours of 9:00pm and 6:00am. At 10:20pm, Patrol officers located the male on Front St. As a result, a 34-year-old Oshawa resident, was arrested and charged for failure to comply with a release order. He was held for a bail hearing.
