Breach of Release Order
On June 30th at approximately 8:00pm, Belleville Police responded to a call in the city’s east end regarding an unwanted person. Officers attended and learned that a male was breaching his release order by communicating with the female party. As a result, police arrested and charged a 22-year-old Belleville resident with two counts of failure to comply with release order. He was held for a video remand.
Assault
On June 28th at approximately 11:15pm, Belleville Police responded to a call in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. Police learned that a male had physically assaulted the female and then left the residence. On June 30th at approximately 12:30pm, police located, arrested and charged a 22-year-old Belleville resident with:
- Two counts of assault
- Two counts of uttering threats
He was held for a video remand.
Break and Enter
On June 30th at 7:56pm, Belleville Police attended a residence on Station Street regarding a break and enter that occurred between 5:00pm and 6:30pm. It is alleged that an unknown suspect entered the property and removed several personal belongings and cash. The investigation is ongoing.
