On February 17th, Belleville Police attended the downtown area regarding an assault. It was reported a male had physically assaulted another individual and fled the scene. Upon investigation, officers were able to identify a suspect.
As a result, on February 25th at 5:59pm, Belleville Police located, arrested, and charged a 24-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address with:
- Assault
- Uttering threats
- Failure to comply with a probation order
- Outstanding warrant executed
He was held for a bail hearing.
