Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 206 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on December 19, 2025 to 5:00 am on December 22, 2025.
Warrants
On December 19th at 6:58am, Belleville Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. Officers spoke to the male driver, and through investigation, learned that the male had two outstanding warrants by the Belleville Police Service for Failure to appear and Theft under $5000. It was also learned the male had an outstanding warrant by L&A OPP.
As a result, a 45-year-old Bellville man was arrested on the strength of the Belleville Police warrants, and was additionally charged with offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Harassment
On December 21st at 12:14pm, Belleville Police spoke with a male who attended the Belleville Police Station advising he wanted to speak to an officer. Upon police investigation, officers determined that there were grounds for his arrest in relation to an incident that occurred on December 19th.
As a result, a 41-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:
- Criminal Harassment
- Fail to comply with an Undertaking
He was held for a bail hearing.
