Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from the 05th of September 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 06th of September 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Assault

Belleville, ON – On the 5th of September police arrested and charged a 25-year-old Belleville male with two counts of assault in relation to a disturbance that occurred on the 1st of September shortly before 9:00 pm on Church St. Charged is Kyle Mackenzie-Baker. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of October 1st to answer to the charges.

Assault with Weapon

Belleville, ON – On the 6th of September at 2:30 am police responded to the area of Catherine St. for a report of a male shooting a paintball gun at residence. Upon arrival police learned that two persons had been struck with projectiles from the gun and damage was done to the residence. A short time later police stopped a vehicle on College St. and 21-year-old Belleville resident Dylan Clarke was arrested. Clarke was transported to The Belleville Police Service where he was later released on an undertaking with a court date of the 1st of October to answer to charges including two counts of assault with a weapon mischief. There were no serious injuries sustained as a result of the assaults.
