Female charged for vehicle thefts/ robbery
Belleville, ON- On 28 September 2020, at 08:40 a.m., police received a call regarding a stolen vehicle from an east end dealership. The vehicle was recovered along with evidence of the identify of the suspect. Police were also able to confirm that the suspect was the same female who had stolen a vehicle from the same dealership on the 26th of September. While attempting to locate the suspect, police received another call to the same dealership that the suspect had returned and attempted to rob a male at knife point. The female then fled in another stolen vehicle which was recovered by police. Police located the female at approximately 6:45pm, and she was arrested without incident. Angie Nolan, 30, of Belleville was charged with four counts of theft of a motor vehicle, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, robbery, and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Nolan was also charged with theft of a motor vehicle stemming from an incident on 1 September 2020. She was released on an undertaking with a 5 November court date.
Arrest made in mischief
Belleville, ON- On 27 September 2020, police were investigating a fight that had taken place following a mischief that had occurred at apartment building. Police received further information that the suspect had returned to the same building later that evening and caused more mischief. On 28 September, police arrested 25-year-old Raymond Bachellier of Coe Hill. He was charged with two counts of mischief and released with a court date of 22 October 2020.
Domestic assault
Belleville, ON- On 28 September 2020, at 2:00 p.m., police were called to an east end address regarding a domestic dispute. On arrival, police spoke with the female victim who advised that she was assaulted and her phone was broken. The suspect attempted to flee the scene, but he was arrested by police. A 35-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. He is being held for a bail hearing. His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
