Wanted Male Located
Belleville ON- On September 24th 2020, after multiple sightings throughout the day, at 1030pm 36-year-old Adam Brownson was arrested on the strength of two warrants after being located in the east end of the city and was held for a bail hearing on the 25th of September. Belleville Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this male.
Stolen Vehicle Leads to Charges
Belleville ON- On the 24th of September 2020 at 11:30 a.m. Belleville Police attended a North end business regarding a stolen vehicle. Two suspects known to the owner were determined to be responsible for the theft of the vehicle. At 12:45 p.m. a Belleville Police officer on patrol located the vehicle travelling towards Quinte West on Hamilton Road. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused and took off on the officer and left the area. The stolen vehicle was located unoccupied in Quinte West shortly after. At 7:00 p.m. Quinte West OPP while responding to a call regarding two suspicious persons located and arrested the two suspects and returned them to Belleville. A 31-year-old male from Bancroft is charged with theft of a motor vehicle and breaching his recognizance. A 30-year-old female from Bancroft is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police and dangerous driving. The female was also found to have outstanding warrants from Bancroft. Both were held for bail hearings on the 25th of September 2020.
