The Belleville Police responded to 65 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 23 Sept 2021 and 5:00 a.m. 24 Sept 2021.

Arrested on Warrants

Belleville ON- On 23 September 2021, at 8:50 a.m., police received a call to an Octavia Street address regarding someone sounding like they were getting beaten up. On arrival, police located a male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation. Nathan Jacobs, 39, of Belleville was arrested and later released with a court date of 4 November. The report of someone getting beaten up was unfounded.

Man Struck by Motorcycle.

Belleville ON- On 23 September 2021, at 7:45 p.m., police were called to the area of Hampton Ridge regarding a man who was struck by a motorcycle. Police were advised that the 77-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when a 10-year-old child on a mini-bike lost control and struck the man. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The child was taken home to his parents. There were no charges.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON- On 23 September 2021, at 9:45 p.m. police attended North Front Street regarding a collision. A vehicle was northbound on North Front Street waiting to turn left into a business. The vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle going North bound. The driver of the second vehicle was charged with carless driving. There were no injuries.
