Public Intoxication
Belleville ON- Empire Rockfest concluded without a hitch, with the exception of only one liquor related arrest. On the 18th of September 2021 at 0940 p.m., officers arrested a 55-year-old male outside of the event when they observed the male to be intoxicated. The male was arrested with being intoxicated in a public place, and was held at the BPS HQ until sober enough to care for himself.
Domestic Assault
Belleville ON- On the 18th of September 2021 at approximately 0630 p.m., officers attended a residence north of Belleville in regards to a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they saw a male exit a window of the residence in an attempt to flee Police. The male was unsuccessful in his fleeing efforts and was subsequently arrested. The 27-year-old male was charged with 1 count of domestic assault and 5 counts of breaching his undertaking and was held for bail.
