Belleville Police Service responded to 89 calls for service from the 1st of October 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 2nd of October 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Liquor Licence Act and Warrants Arrests

Belleville, ON – On the 1st of October at 8:52 p.m., police attended an East end location regarding a passed-out male. Officers quickly ascertained that the male had consumed a large amount of alcohol and was arrested under the liquor licence act for his own safety. A check of the male also yielded information that he was wanted by Kingston Police. The 35-year-old Belleville man was turned over to Kingston Police to answer to the warrant.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, ON – During the past twenty-four hours, officers attended 9 collisions throughout the city. Luckily, none resulted in injuries, but 6 drivers were charged for various highway traffic act offences.
