The Belleville Police Service responded to 65 calls from October 10th 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to October 11th 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
ATV Collision
Belleville ON- On October 10th at 5:00 p.m. Belleville Police were called to the area of Mudcat Road and Countrycharm Drive on the report of an ATV accident. Paramedics also attended and it was learned that a 25 yr old Stirling man had been ejected from the ATV he was riding and had struck a pole. Paramedics transported the male to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation.
Disturbance on the Bridge
Belleville ON- On October 10th at 10:15 p.m. Belleville Police attended on the Norris Whitney Bridge for a female sitting in traffic, nearly causing collisions. Police quickly located a young lady they are VERY familiar with. This 18 yr. old Belleville women has been arrested numerous times in the past few months for the same behaviour on the bridge. She was held for a bail hearing, charged with: Causing a Disturbance, Resist Arrest and Escape Lawful Custody.
3-day Licence Suspension
Belleville ON- On October 11th at 2:00 a.m. a Belleville Police officer on patrol stopped a vehicle in the downtown core area. A test of the driver’s breath/alcohol level resulted a “Warn Range” suspension. The 38 yr old women from Frankford faces a 3-day suspension of her drivers licence and $531 in fees to get her licence re-instated. The Belleville Police remind the motoring public that officers check drivers 24/7 for compliance with Ontario’s stringent DUI rules. Please…… Don’t Drink and Drive.
