Assault and Threats
Belleville, ON – On the 30th of September at 11:30 a.m. police received a call for service with regards to a family disturbance in the city’s West end. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 59-year-old female for assault and uttering threats. The Belleville resident was transported to The Belleville Police Service where she was later released on an undertaking to face the charges which she was arrested for in court on November 12th. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victims.
Breach of Court Order
Belleville, ON – On the 30th of September at 3:19 p.m. police were called to the Bay Bridge in relation to a distraught 20-year-old female. The female was taken to Belleville General Hospital where she was treated and released but remained in police custody as she was breaching a judicial order. The Belleville resident is being held for a bail hearing on the 1st of October.
Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, ON – On the 30th of September shortly after 12:00 p.m. police arrested a 38-year-old female on an outstanding warrant for charges including forcible confinement, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, sexual assault with a weapon, assault and assault causing bodily harm. The Belleville resident is being held in custody for a bail hearing on the 1st of October.
