The Belleville Police Service responded to 82 calls from November 5th 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to November 6th 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Arrest on Warrants and Breach of Release Order
Belleville, ON. - On the 5th of November at 9:20 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop on Old Hwy 2 in the East end of Belleville. Further investigation revealed that the passenger in the vehicle was breaching his release conditions and wanted on several outstanding warrants. The 27-year-old Belleville male was arrested on outstanding warrants and for failing to comply with a release order. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail.
City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on November 6th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance. Several minor motor vehicle collisions were also referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police Service.
