The Belleville Police responded to 90 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 06 Nov 2020 and 5:00 a.m. on 07 Nov 2020.

Theft

Belleville ON On 6 November 2020 at 5:12 a.m. officers received a call from an address on Gilbert St. in regards to a theft. The homeowner was reporting that a large lighted snowman was stolen from the yard sometime overnight. The victim then went to work. When he returned from work, the snowman had been returned to the yard. There were no suspects identified at the time and the victim requested no further police involvement.

Theft

Belleville ON- On 6 November 2020 at 10:15 a.m., police received a call regarding a theft from a Front St. business. It was reported that a male had entered the store and stolen a pair of keys before running away. The suspect was described as an older male with a skinny build. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service.

Theft of Package

Belleville ON- On 6 November 2020 at 3:20 p.m., police took a complaint at a West end address regarding a theft of a package. The complainant advised that she had a package delivered to her door, and an unknown male had stolen it from her door step. Police were provided video of the incident and are working to identify the suspect. Police are reminding the public to be cautious with packages as the holiday season approaches.
