Mischief and Theft Charges
Belleville, ON – On November 26th 2020 at 10:16 a.m., police were called to a business on Front Street. An investigation displayed a female smashing the front door to the business earlier, at 8:30 a.m. Video footage from the store assisted in a full description of the suspect. A short while later the suspect was observed, and taken into custody without incident in the Front Street area. Police arrested 37-year old Christine Margaret Brown and charged her with one count of Mischief – under five thousand dollars, and three counts of Theft – under five thousand dollars. Brown was later released on an undertaking with conditions and a December 10th court date in Belleville.
Liquor Licence Arrest
Belleville, ON – On November 26th 2020 at 9:55 p.m., police were called to a College Street East location for a report of an intoxicated female. The investigation established the female, a 34-year old from Tweed to have been under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrest for the offence of being intoxicated in a public place. She was lodged into a holding cell for the night to be released later in the morning of November 27th.
