ASSAULT
On the 25th of November at 6:52 p.m. Belleville Police were called to a local restaurant for a complaint of an Assault. As a result of the investigation a seventeen-year-old Stirling, Ontario area resident was arrested and charged with Assault. The youth was later released with a court date of December 8th, 2021. In compliance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act the name of the youth will not be released.
WARRANTS
At 1:40 a.m. on the 26th of November, 2021 Belleville Police attended the area of Wellington Crescent for complaints of a disturbance. While investigating the disturbance attending officers ran a male party and it was determined he had outstanding arrest warrants for Fail to attend Court and Fail to attend for Prints. As a result, a thirty-five-year-old male Belleville, Ontario resident Timothy Sharpe was arrested for the outstanding warrants. A search incident to arrest revealed a small quantity of illegal narcotics and led to further charges of Possession of a schedule one substance and Breach of Probation. Sharpe was released with a court date of December 16th, 2021.
