The Belleville Police responded to 45 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 22 Nov 2020 and 23 Nov 2020 5:00 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville ON On 22 Nov 2020 at 7:15 p.m. officers attended Cascade Ave. between Harvest Cres. and Village D.r in regards to a car accident. A vehicle was travelling west bound and lost control as a result of the road conditions. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole. The pole was dislodged and crews attended to replace the pole. There were no injuries and or charges.
As of 5:00 a.m. Cascade Ave. is closed to traffic between Harvest Cres. and Village Dr. Please avoid the street.

Belleville ON, On 23 Nov 2020 at 12:15 a.m. officers attended on Moira St. W. in regards to a vehicle in the ditch. Officer attended on scene. They received information that a vehicle was travelling east bound and lost control due to road conditions. The vehicle ended up in the ditch. The driver was not injured and there was minor damage to the vehicle. There were no charges laid.

Belleville ON, On 22 Nov 2020 at 9:13 p.m. police attended an accident at Bell Blvd. and Wallbridge Loyalist Rd. A vehicle had lost control and struck a traffic light pole. Upon speaking to the driver officers police believed that alcohol may have been a factor in the collision. The 27-year-old Stirling male provided a sample of breath into an alcohol screening device. As a result, the male was given a 3-day licence suspension and his vehicle was towed.
