The Belleville Police Service responded to 55 calls for service between the 15th of November, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. and the 16th of November, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Hazardous Conditions

Belleville ON, On the 15th of November, 2020, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., police attended nine calls for service related to the weather. Police attended Harmony Rd. for downed wires.  The other eight calls for service were for trees down/debris on roadway and all cleared without incident.  All roads are open.

Theft/Breach of Conditions

Belleville ON, On the 15th of November, 2020, at 11:45 a.m., Officer’s attended Canadian Tire at 101 Bell Blvd. regarding a male in custody for theft. Upon arrival, a computer check showed the suspect was breaching the conditions of his probation and a judicial release order.  A 38 year old Trenton male is being charged with the following: two counts of fail to comply with probation order, three counts of fail to comply with judicial  release order, one count of fail to comply with weapons prohibition, and one count of possession of prohibited weapon. The male is being held for a bail hearing on the 16th of November, 2020.
