Belleville City Police have been receiving a large increase of reported stolen bicycles from residential properties. Belleville Police would like to remind citizens to secure their bicycles in a garage or shed if possible. However, if you have to leave them outside, please be vigilant to lock them up and retain your bicycles serial number which makes it easier for police to locate owners whose bicycles they recover.
