The Belleville Police Service responded to 55 calls for service from the 3rd of May 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 4th of May 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Multiple Breaches

Belleville ON-On the 3rd of May 2020 at 10:15 a.m. Belleville Police were contacted regarding a domestic disturbance on the West side of the city.  Further investigation revealed that the pair were not allowed to be around each other due to outstanding charges and court conditions.  The couple were located and as result a 24-year-old Belleville resident was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.  The accused was held for a bail hearing on the 4th of May 2020.  

Intoxication

Belleville ON-On the 3rd of May 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Belleville Police attended an East end residence regarding an unwanted female.  Upon arrival the unwanted female was found to be heavily intoxicated and was eventually arrested for her own protection.  The 46-year-old Thurlow resident was later released when she was deemed sober.

Drug Charges

Belleville ON-On the 3rd of May 2020 at 6:15 p.m. Belleville Police attended an East end housing complex regarding a disturbance.  Upon arrival Belleville Police located a male who was acting in an erratic manner consistent with drug consumption.  The male was arrested for his own protection.  While searching the male, officers located a quantity of illegal drugs, as well as, prescription medications and other items consistent with drug trafficking.  As a result, of the investigation 24-year-old Connor Symons a Belleville resident was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking as well being in possession of proceeds of crime.  He was later released with a July 13th Court date.
