Computer Stolen

Belleville, ON – On May 30th 2021 at 2:08 p.m., police were called to a reported theft of a computer from a residence on Wellington Crescent.  Police report that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the dwelling of the occupier while she was away.  The 72-year old victim of this theft reported that her silver-coloured Acer laptop was removed from the inside of her home. An investigation into the matter is continuing, and police are asking anyone who may have information about this to please contact investigating officer Cst. Collision Results in Charge

Belleville, ON – On May 30th 2021 at 6:31 p.m., police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Bridge Street West and Sidney Street.  Two automobiles were involved.  No estimate of damage was given, and there were no reported injuries.   Police charged a 77-year old city man with the offence of “Turn – not in safety” contrary to section 142(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
