The Belleville Police Service responded to 67 calls from May 29th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to May 30th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Breach of Conditions

Belleville ON- On the 29th of May, 2021 at 10:30 p.m., Belleville Police were called to the property of a business in the city’s west end regarding a report of a suspicious male and female trying the rear door. A male from outside the Belleville area was located by police and found to be breaching numerous court release conditions. This male was subsequently arrested, charged and held for a show cause hearing on the 30th of May, 2021. 

Attempt Theft from Vehicles

Belleville ON- On the 30th of May, 2021, at 1:17 a.m., Belleville Police were called to the area in the west end of the city regarding a suspicious person checking car doors.  Police are continuing the investigation and request anyone with information contact Cst. Boulay at 613-966-0882 ext 4183. 

Residents are reminded to ensure vehicles are locked and no valuables left out overnight to prevent crimes of opportunity.
