Breach of Recognizance
Belleville, ON – On the 26th of May 2020 at approx. 10:04 p.m. police received a 9-1-1 call to an East end location regarding a disturbance. When officers arrived at the scene, an investigation revealed that one of the males was in breach of his conditions from two separate release orders stemming from previous domestic related incidents. A 20-year-old Belleville man was charged with 9 counts of breach of a release order and a count of assaulting a peace officer. He was held for a show cause hearing on the 27th of May 2020.
Bear Sighting
Belleville, ON – On the 26th of May 2020 in the afternoon police were informed of a reported sighting of a bear in the Foxboro area. The Ministry of Natural Resources has been notified of the sighting and The Belleville Police Service would like to remind residents to be vigilant if venturing into the woods.
