The Belleville Police responded to 66 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 25 May 2021 and 26 May 2021 5:00 a.m.

Break and Enter

Belleville ON, On 25 May 2021 at 5:30 p.m. police attended an address on Moira St. W. in regards to a break and enter. The suspect entered the residence and was confronted by the homeowners. The male left the residence and was arrested nearby. A 25 year old Belleville resident was charged with break and enter and breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing on 26 May 2021.

Break and Enter

Belleville ON, On 25 May 2021 at 6:18 a.m. police received a call from a person in the Parkdale area. The person reported that he could hear an alarm in the area. Police arrived on scene and located a male inside a residence. Ibrahim Muhia a 25 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house. He was released on an appearance notice with a court date of 15 July 2021.

Theft

Belleville ON, On 25 May 2021 at 4:48 p.m. police received a call about a theft for a business on Bridge St W. A Male had entered the store and left with approx. 100.00 dollars worth of Bic lighters. The white male was described as wearing tan boots, a black baseball hat with white on it, light blue t shirt, and blue jeans. He was also carrying a black bag. The investigation is continuing.
