Quinte West Woman Arrested for Threats
Belleville, ON – On the 18th of May 2020 at 5:19 p.m., police were called to a residence in the area of Herchimer Avenue and Lesley Drive regarding threats. An investigation revealed that a city woman and a female child were targeted with threatening communication from a woman earlier in the day. Charged with uttering a threat to cause death and uttering a threat to cause bodily harm is 19-year old Katie Casselman. She has been released on an undertaking with strict conditions to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 6th.
Theft of Bicycle from Business
Belleville, ON – On the 18th of May 2020 at 10:24 p.m., police were called to a business in the Bayview Mall on Dundas Street East. The caller, an employee of the business, informed police that his CCM white bicycle was stolen some time between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The business has provided security surveillance to police to work with. The investigation is continuing. Police are asking anyone with information about this theft to please contact investigating officer Cst.
