Assault with a Weapon

Belleville ON-On the 16th of May 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Belleville Police were called to West Riverside Park regarding a disturbance.  Officers arrived and determined that a young male had pulled a knife out and uttered a death threat during the disturbance.  As a result, a 14-year-old Belleville resident was charged with assault with a weapon contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code, uttering threats to cause death contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose contrary to section 88 of the Criminal Code of Canada.  The youth, who cannot be named due to his age was released on an undertaking with a court date of the 6th of July 2021.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON-On the 16th of May 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Belleville Police were called to Bell Boulevard regarding a motor vehicle collision.  Minor injuries were reported and both vehicles were not driveable.  As a result of the investigation a 33-year-old Belleville resident was charged with making an improper left turn contrary to section 141(6) of the Highway Traffic Act.

Stolen Vehicle

Belleville ON-On the 16th May 2021 Belleville Police took a report of a stolen vehicle.  A black 2010 Dodge Journey with attached Ontario plates #CDPA 369 was stolen from a John Street residence at approximately 2pm.  If the vehicle is observed please contact Belleville Police.
