Mischief to Cabs
Belleville, ON- On 14 May 2020, at 10:00 a.m., police responded to a Moira Street West regarding mischief to cabs parked in the parking lot. Belleville Police were advised that at approximately 10:20 p.m. on 13 May, an unknown suspect slashed tires on cabs and fled the area. Arrested on Warrants
Belleville, ON- On 15 May 2020, at 12:05 a.m., police were patrolling an east end neighbourhood and observed two males on bikes. Police identified one of the males as 30 year-old Jesse Sturgess of Belleville who was currently wanted for breaching his probation. Sturgess was arrested and later released with a court date of 16 July 2020.
Disturbance Leads to Arrest
Belleville, ON- On 15 May 2020, at 1:30 a.m., police responded to an East end apartment building regarding a disturbance in an apartment building. On arrival, officers identified the involved persons, and learned that the female involved was on conditions not to communicate with the male stemming from a prior domestic assault charge. A 33-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and later released with a court date of 13 July 2020.
