Arrested on Warrant
Belleville, ON – On the 2nd of March 2021 at 2:41 p.m., police received information that a wanted 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested on the strength of a warrant out of the Belleville Police Service by the Quinte West OPP. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service and turned over by the OPP. Christopher Walker was arrested on the warrant for three counts of Breach of Probation and is being held for a bail hearing.

Belleville, ON – On the 2nd of March 2021 at 2:53 p.m. Police were responding to a call in the area of Purdy Street when they observed a male who was known to them to be wanted by the Belleville Police Service on a warrant. Subsequently, 31-year-old Belleville man, Jesse Sturgess, was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail on a warrant for Failing to Attend for Fingerprints.
Mischief to Motor Vehicle
Belleville, ON – On the 3rd of March 2021 at 1:45 a.m. Police were called to the area of North Park Street and McFee Street regarding a disturbance with people yelling. Upon arrival, nobody was observed in the area. Police did observe a motor vehicle to have been damaged by a snow shovel. Police seized the shovel for further examination. An investigation into the matter is continuing.
