The Belleville Police Service responded to 66 calls for service from March 10th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to March 11th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Public Intoxication Charge
Belleville, ON – On the 11th of March 2021 at 2:03 a.m., Police responded to the area of Casey Rd. regarding a family disturbance; where a male was threatening to damage property within the residence. Police attended the area and located an intoxicated 36-year-old Belleville male within the driveway of the residence who was causing the disturbance. The 36-year-old male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place under the Liquor Licence Act and will be released when sober.
City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on March 11th 2021. Police did respond to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
