Attack Results in Charges
Belleville, ON – On June 22nd 2021 at 10:22 a.m., police were called to a business location in the North Front Street and College Street area for a call about a disturbance. Information was received that one female had exited a motor vehicle, pulling out another female from a different motor vehicle at the location, and committing an assault. The suspect woman then re-entered the vehicle she was in. The driver of this vehicle then rammed the passenger side of the victim’s car multiple times before leaving the scene. Police are continuing the investigation and have secured eye-witness accounts and video evidence from nearby business locations. Police, later in the morning arrested the two female suspects from the offending vehicle. City resident Jacqueline Noyes, 59 years of age was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code. City resident Nicole Kelly Rosatte, 35 years of age was arrested and charged with Assault contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code. Both women were released on undertakings with strict conditions, and are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 29th 2021. Arrested on Warrants
Belleville, ON – On June 22nd 2021 at 7:00 p.m., police were called to a Bell Boulevard business for a report of a man yelling at people outside of the location. The investigation demonstrated the man, a 47-year old city resident, was wanted by way of arrest warrants for two charges of: Failing to attend for fingerprints as directed by an undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(b) of the Criminal Code. John William Oickle was arrested without incident and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was later released on an undertaking on both charges, and is expected to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 5th 2021.
