Theft of Bike

Belleville, ON- On 19 June 2021, at 12:10pm, police responded to a Pinnacle Street address regarding a theft of a bike. Police were advised by the complainant that his bike was locked up outside of his apartment, and an unknown suspect had cut the lock and stole the bike. The bike is a red Norco mountain bike with disc brakes.

Police also received another call at 2:05pm that another bike was stolen from a Tracey Park Drive address. The bike is described as a purple and grey 26’ Supercycle. Anyone with information on either of these thefts are asked to call the Belleville Police Service.

Arrested on Warrants

Belleville, ON- On 19 June 2021, at 8:30 p.m., police were in the parking lot of a Haig Road apartment building when a male who was known to be wanted was observed. Police approached the male, identified as 38-year-old John Willis of Belleville, and arrested him. Willis was held in custody for a bail hearing on 20 June for his outstanding warrants for mischief, harassment, two counts of fail to comply with an undertaking, and fail to attend for fingerprints.
