The Belleville Police Service responded to 80 calls from June 18thth 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to June 19th 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Break and Enter

Belleville ON - On 18 June 2021 at 6:00 a.m. police attended on King George Square in regards to a break and enter. A homeowner had woken up to find a female sleeping on the couch. The female had left prior to police arrival; however, she was located a short distance away. Melissa Mantle a 36-year-old Belleville resident was charged with one count of being unlawfully in a dwelling house. She was released on an undertaking with a court date of 22 July 2021.

Theft

Belleville ON - On 18 June 2021 at 12:14 p.m. police attended a business on Millennium Drive in regards to a theft. A male had entered the store and stole some merchandise.   Police located the male nearby and arrested him. As a result of the investigation Manos Tsichlas a 67-year-old Belleville resident was charged with theft under 5000.00 dollars. He was released on an appearance notice with a court date of 22 July 2021.
