Breach of Probation and Threats
Belleville ON- On the 17th of June 2021 at 1:00 p.m. a vehicle stop was conducted by Belleville Police in the east end of Belleville. The vehicle was known to be driven by a male who currently had a warrant for his arrest for breaching his probation order. The male was found to be the driver of the vehicle and was arrested. While in custody the male uttered death threats towards the officers. As a result of the investigation the 77-year-old male was charged with two counts of breaching his probation order contrary to section 733.1 of the Criminal Code and one count of uttering a death threat contrary to section 264.1 of the Criminal Code. The male is being held for a bail hearing on the 18th of June 2021.
Hit and Run
Belleville ON- On June 9th 2021, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a collision occurred in an eastbound lane of Dundas Street East and Farley Avenue. A black motorcycle and a light-coloured Ford Escape, were involved. Police are seeking any independent witnesses and/or dash cam video, which may lead to the identity of the driver of the Ford Escape. Public Intoxication
Belleville ON-On June 17th 2021, at 9:00 p.m. Belleville Police were called to a residence in the West end regarding a male who was throwing items around a family member’s residence while intimidating the occupants. Officers arrived and found the male was now out on street in front of the residence. The male was determined to be highly intoxicated and aggressive. The 29-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and charged for being intoxicated in a public place contrary to section 31(4) of the Liquor License Act. He is being held until sober.
