Belleville, ON – On the 11th of June 2020, at approximately 12:25 p.m., officers attended the parking lot of a business in the north end regarding a dog left in a locked vehicle. Luckily the owner of the pet was away from their vehicle for a very short period of time and the animal was not showing any signs of distress. Although it may not appear to be very hot outside, the inside of your vehicle could still heat up very quickly in the sun.
