Belleville Police Service responded to 63 calls for service from the 04th of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 05th of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m.
Domestic Assault
Belleville, ON – On the 4th of July shortly after 3:30 p.m. police were called to a North Front St. plaza with regards to a disturbance involving two males and two females. Police investigation led to the arrest of a 23-year-old Roslin female. She was transported to The Belleville Police Service where she was later released on an undertaking with two counts of spousal assault. She was given an August 27th court date to answer to the charges.
Robbery
Belleville, ON – On the 4th of July at 11:45 p.m. police received a 911 call from a cell phone that was determined to be in the area of North Front St and Valleyview Cr. The call taker could hear scuffling on the phone then a male got on advising he had been beat up. Police arrived moments later to find out that the male had in fact been robbed. The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention. Two males were arrested a short time later in the area. Belleville residents Marquise Duplisea and Cameron Hall were taken to The Belleville Police Service where they were both later released on undertakings. The males were each charged with one count of robbery and were give a court date of August 13th to answer to their charges.
