Break and Enter
Belleville ON- On the 3rd of July, 2021 shortly after 4:00 p.m., Belleville Police attended a break and enter in the city’s west end. Officers learned that the suspect male was still inside the residence. Officers attended and were able to safely arrest the agitated male outside the residence. As a result, a 29-year-old Belleville man will be charged with a slew of offences including: weapons dangerous contrary to section 88 of the Criminal Code, resisting arrest contrary to section 129(a) of the Criminal Code, uttering threats contrary to section 264.1(1) of the Criminal Code, assaulting a peace officer with intent to resist contrary to section 270(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and break and entering and committing an indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code. The accused will be held in custody and will appear via video on the 4th of July 2021.
Break and Enter
Belleville ON-On the 3rd of July 2021, shortly after 6:00 p.m., Belleville Police were dispatched to a west end residence regarding a male trying to break into a garage. A vigilant neighbor noticed the male enter the garage and subsequently jump a fence into a neighboring yard. Officers attended and observed a male matching the description provided by the caller a short distance away. Subsequently, 23-year-old Reian Wallace of Consecon was arrested and charged with the following offences: break and enter and committing an indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code, and mischief under $5000.00 contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code. Following Mr. Wallace’s arrest, police were notified of a second break and enter in the immediate vicinity, witnesses provided a description matching Mr. Wallace. A further count of break and enter with intent to commit and indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code and mischief under $5000.00 contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code were laid as a result of the investigation. Mr. Wallace was released from police custody with a court date of the 16th of September 2021. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Cst.
