Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from the 21st of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 22nd of July 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

 

Motor vehicle collision

Belleville ON-On the 21st of July 2020 at 5pm Belleville Police attended the intersection of Dundas Street and Palmer Road regarding a motor vehicle collision.  No injuries were reported, but both vehicles were not driveable.  As a result of the investigation one of the driver’s involved was charged with careless driving.

 

Harassment

Belleville ON-On the 20th of July 2020 Belleville Police began an investigation into a harassment complaint.  Members of a Belleville family advised that they were receiving continued unwanted contact from a 36-year-old Tweed resident about a dispute over thirty dollars.  Phillip Farrugia was charged with criminal harassment and was released with an August 27th court date.
